Sukanya samridhi yojna is halal or haram and why?

Sukanya Samridhi Yojna is a savings scheme launched back in 2015 as part of the Government initiative Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign. As these are debt instruments, the investors get a fixed interest of 8.4% per annum on their investment. Hence, investment in Sukanya Samridhi Yojana is Shariah non-compliant.
