Question

Does TASIS have full monitoring of the activities of these companies so that it can vouch that the companies stick to their promises and don't indulge in any breach of Shariah agreement??

Answer

We at TASIS, only monitor the performance of the companies on our Shariah List on the basis of business and financial parameters. There is no commitment on the part of the company itself to adhere to any of our parameters. We only screen the company ourselves with no reference or request from the company themselves for us to do so. In case, by default any company comes out compliant on our set criteria, we categorize it as Compliant and inform our customers accordingly, through our Shariah List or otherwise.
