Is Zakat and Purgng same
Answer
NO. Zakat and Purging is totally different. Zakat is compulsory for those whose wealth crosses the limit of 'Nisab' after the completion of a period of one lunar calendar. On the other hand, Purging is purifying the impure income accrued on account of investment in any securities, Funds, ETFs etc.
